    How does the process work for wedding services with Hire Service Pros?:

    Here is a brief overview of how it works (on photography for example):

  • We provide service packages based on how many hours you need (4-12 hours+) at low rates with a few options for additional add-ons if you would like them, such as:
  • engagement photography
  • additional photographers
  • and a photo album
  • Once you select the package you like
  • we will select one of our top local experts for you based on your desires and requirements
  • or you can choose from our vendors profiles
  • Once the vendor has been selected for your wedding day, we will have him or her contact you to schedule a consultation to go over your wants and needs.
What are payment terms?:

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: The aforementioned 50% non-refundable retainer fee is due at the time of signing of agreement. The remaining balance is payable in full 1 week prior to the day of the EVENT(S). In the event the CLIENT fails to remit payment as specified, the COMPANY shall have the right to immediately terminate this agreement with no further obligation, retain any monies already paid, and not attend the EVENT(S). Returned checks will be assessed a $50 non-sufficient funds fee.

Deposits may be made with PayPal or credit card via phone. Make sure to include your quote number. 50% payment is due upon agreement, and the final 50% due at least 1 week prior to the event.

Payment: Payment can be remitted via paypal at support@hireservicespros.com or via calling 612-284-2838. Only gratuity and /or additional overtime to the professionals should be paid in cash. Date changes are subject to additional charges and availability.

Additional time is $150.00 per hour, per professional. All professionals will call the week of the event. All payments are non-refundable and cancellation of any service may result in additional charges.

Are there travel charges?

TRAVEL EXPENSES: All travel expenses are based on the distance between the EVENT location(s) and the Vendor studio address. For all EVENT(S), the first 40 miles round trip of travel are included. All mileage greater than 40 miles are charged at $1.50 per mile. If the event is within 20 miles of a metropolitan area (greater than 100,000 population), no mileage fees shall be charged, provided that a vendor is available in that area. Mileage should typically not exceed $100, but verify with your advisor if the location is a remote or rural area.

Are there discounts for purchasing multiple services?

For each separate additional service purchased, you may be eligible to receive an additional $50 off as a bundling discount. (This does not include add ons to a package and must be based on our standard pricing packages). An example would be if you purchased photography, dj, and videography, you would be eligible for up to $100 ($50*2) for the two additional services.

What do I get for within the package?

Your quotation will specify exactly what is included in your package. Most packages will include up to a set number of hours which is the main determinant in price. There are add ons available to make your package more customizable, while keeping our base prices very affordable, like additional hours, a second shooter, video highlight reels, a photo album, and additional equipment.

How do your prices compare to other vendors?

Which package should I choose for photography or videography?

Most weddings include 4 main events: bride's preparation, ceremony, family/ friend portraits, and reception. We usually can cover 2 or 3 out of 4 of these photography events with 4 hours of service.

Usually 6 hours is the minimum to cover all of the main 4 events: brides preparation, ceremony, portraits and reception. 6 hours is a nice compromise between your budget and capturing your special day

8 hours is our most popular package with full day coverage! Capture most of your big day from brides prep to reception with the standard 8 hour package.

Complete or premium coverage would be 10-12+ hours to cover from the beginning of the bride preparation to the end of the dance. If you don’t want to miss a single minute of your special day, this is the way to go! You can add additional photographers/ videographers, and a photo album as well as video highlight reels.

Can I split coverage?

For example, if my wedding ceremony is a 11 am, and my reception is not until 5pm, can I do 3 hours of coverage from 11-1pm and 5-11pm? This is an option, but an additional hour may be billed to cover the drive time back and forth from the vendor multiple times to the site(s).

What do I have to do to reserve this?

How can I explain all the details of my wedding to the professional agent?

We will provide you with a detailed questionnaire asking you several questions about the dates, times, contacts, and your preferences for your event. The more details you provide, the more perfect we can make your photos and videos.

Do I get to meet with my professional?

You will receive an email before your wedding once you have completed all the above steps with your professionals contact details like phone, email and name. It is important that you set up a time for a final consultation (via phone or in person) with your photographer/ videographer. During the final consultation you will go over your shot list, portraits, timeline and more if you have not already done so.

How do I contact customer support?

How long do my photos/ videos take to be processed?

Our editors work hard to try and make your wedding media perfect. Your photos/videos will be available online approximately 3-6 weeks after your wedding, and you will be notified by Hire Service Pros when they are ready for viewing. This could take up to 8+ weeks during peak wedding times.

What if I want to add on hours or services on the day of the wedding?

If the vendors are available for your extended request, you may extend services for $150/ hour.

Do you offer a cash referral program?

We will give you 10% cash (up to $1000) on services purchased by friends you refer to us and your friend will receive our friends and family discount too! Just make sure they mention your email address and that you referred them to us when the submit a quote. After their wedding, you will receive a cash referral bonus via paypal to the email address provided.
